Landlords We recommend that you take out insurance from a reputable company who specialises in providing insurance's for the Landlord.
2. Contents insurance - again it can be difficult to get your normal
home contents insurer to cover your contents when you no longer reside in the home. The
amount of cover can be limited for part-furnished properties. This may cover you on a new
for old basis. It may also cover your loss of rent plus your re-letting costs following
damage. 3. Legal expenses - Despite all of the efforts we make at Stanley and
Partners sometimes your tenant may not pay the rent owed or refuse to vacate the property
and you need to take legal action to evict them. This rarely happens with tenants placed
by Stanley and partners but we would recommend for your own piece of mind having such
cover to pay for your legal action. This can be expensive otherwise and not always
recouped from the offending tenant. 4. Rent warranty -For total piece of mind we recommend that you take out cover that your rent is paid. If the tenant fails to pay the rent the insurance company will pay it until vacant possession is obtained for up to 12 months - terms apply. If you require a quotation for landlord or tenant insurance one company providing these products within the market place is Homelet and Paragon Advance. By clicking the links you will be leaving our site and all advice given on these regulated products is provided by Homelet & Paragon Advance.
